With so many different providers offering PLR articles these days, and so many different interpretations of PLR rights and how you can use that content, knowing just what to do with those articles and eBooks can get a little confusing. 

There are actually a number of different PLR rights that you can purchase with your PLR content, and it’s important that you understand each of them before using the content you have purchased for anything. The various PLR rights which you can purchase include basic PLR rights, PLR resell rights, PLR and master resell rights.  They each have a different meaning for your business.

Basic PLR Rights

The first type of PLR article rights that you can purchase are basic PLR rights. What this means is typically that you have the right to completely rewrite the items, whether they are PLR articles or eBooks, add your name as the author, and sell them as your own product.

As a general rule, basic PLR rights do not allow you to resell any rights to the content in question, other than for personal use for your customers. Most PLR articles come with only basic PLR rights.

PLR Resell Rights

Another type of PLR rights is called PLR Resell Rights. With PLR resell rights you can not only repurpose your articles and e-books and add your name as the creator, creating your own original products to sell; but you can also give your customers the right to resell whatever products you create.  

It's important that you know for certain that you have this type of PLR rights before you offer resell rights to your customers. Not doing so can cost you thousands in fines. PLR resell rights also make the PLR articles you purchase much more valuable, as you can sell your repurposed PLR with resell rights for even more than if you were to only create a product for your customers' personal use.

PLR Master Resell Rights

The last type of PLR rights which you need to know about are PLR Master Resell Rights. As a general rule, you won't find many PLR products that come with PLR master resell rights; simply because the majority of providers don't want their products to become worthless because of mass distribution.

Basically, PLR master resell rights give you the right to do whatever you want to do with the products you purchase. You can create your own info products to sell for personal use only, you can offer your customers resell rights to whatever you create, AND you can offer the products as-is to your customers to resell as PLR.

Whichever type of PLR rights you purchase, it's important that you keep your license on hand in the event you are ever questioned about your content. All quality PLR providers will provide you with a rights file (typically a .txt file) when you purchase your content.

If you don't want to have to worry about whether the content you are buying will be spread out all over the web, then make certain you only purchase the rights to PLR articles which are basic or PLR resell rights.
